Here I am who ended up riding with these fast guys for about a miles or 2. These guys were fast and kept me on my toes. One of the guys zoomed past me but i was close enough still but the other guy was trying to keep up and started to get a pull from me. Overall it was fun and its part of the jou why i love cycling.
On January 31st I had a pleasure of riding with an awesome group from the Brentwood area. I want to continuing riding with this group, powerful but courteous of other riders. The respect that they have for each other is something I look for.
I will continue to ride with my other groups, Wednesday Mikes Bikes Passo Del Diablo, ALC, & part time Mikes Bikes Sat Group... whewww a lot of different groups. And on top of that starting my own club Velo Beards - catering to the Bearded Rider.
But i need to start setting my base and not become the Lone Wolf team.
Anyways, here we are in the clip. The ride started in Brentwood and I jumped on board from Pittsburg and we headed to Benicia and headed back to Brentwood.
I rode a total of 78miles.
This ride was the 1st Anniversary Ride for the group and I could not miss it.We rode on HWY 4 which was new to a lot of riders. Some were intrigued by the fact we rode on the freeway..

I wanted to change the camera view and show myself this time instead of showing what's in front of me. And plus who doesn't want to see a a snot rocket and a beard in the wind.
Here are some shots that I took of my AIDS LifeCycle teammates during a bike ride to the Bay Bridge Trail span on New Years Day. We have this thing that we do called a Grrrrr and here are the results.
Hundreds of riders descending Mt Diablo after our race. We had to wait until the last rider crossed the finish line. For safety reasons, we were escorted by a vehicle in front of the group (you can see it briefly in some of the shots) so we were not going full speed and the roads were closed to traffic until we were off of the mountain.
